A telefonia VoIP (Voice over IP) esteve muito em foco mas pouco se sabe sobre o funcionamento desta tecnologia além do fato de funcionar via Internet.De fato a telefonia IP tem melhorado a cada ano e temos observado que mais empresas e pessoas físicas utilizam VoIP por padrão. o 100Blog é um exemplo.
Com o princípio da capilaridade da telefonia no Brasil é as operadoras são obrigadas a entregar a comunicação mesmo gerada por um cliente VoIP (conectado em uma operadora homologada pela ANATEL) até os telefones fixos residenciais ou celulares cobrando para isso uma pequena taxa do uso. Sendo que no caso da telefonia VoIP o meio de comunicação é por conta do cliente (ADSL/Cable Modem ou quaquer banda larga) a comunicacao entre dois clients VoIP normalmente é gratuita.
O client mais conhecido é sem dúvida o Skype nosso de cada dia. Porém não é o único que merece atenção.
